This KEP proposes extending kubelet's --system-reserved and --kube-reserved flags to accept hugepages resources (e.g., hugepages-2Mi=512Mi). When set, the specified hugepages are subtracted from the node's Allocatable capacity, preventing kubelet from offering hugepages that are already consumed by system daemons to pods. Accepting hugepages in those flags also unblocks --reserved-memory hugepage reservations used by Memory Manager.
